Employment Opportunities

Does the idea of working in a picture-perfect rural Vermont town appeal to you? With a district high school, elementary school, churches, post office and a typical New England small-town village common, all just steps away, the Otis Health Care Center offers employment opportunities which can help bring about the country lifestyle you've been dreaming of. Just ask any of the 160 professionals currently employed here!

Townshend is a charming, close-knit rural community located 20 miles north of Brattleboro in the heart of the Green Mountains. Townshend and surrounding towns are among the most picturesque and unspoiled communities in all of New England. With low unemployment, the economy is stable and is driven largely by recreational tourism, healthcare, agriculture, and light industry. The area offers world class skiing, hiking, fly fishing, biking and other outdoor activities, and is home to the resorts of Stratton Mountain and Mount Snow. Grace Cottage Hospital garners tremendous community support in its core service area and the hospital benefits from a large, committed volunteer base.

The small size of our full-service hospital makes possible the warm, individualized, professional care for which we are recognized. With 19 in-patient beds we are also premier providers of outpatient and rehabilitation services. Join our distinguished team and experience the camaraderie and support of the small hospital that’s big on quality.
