Gift Challenge Met

In December, the Fanny Holt Ames & Louise Holt Trust issued a matching gift challenge for the purchase of a Mobile Isolation Unit for Grace Cottage Hospital’s inpatient pharmacy. The challenge was met within weeks by 48 Grace Cottage supporters who were asked to help meet the match. Thanks to these gifts, inpatients and outpatients who need specialized nutrition or antibiotic therapy don’t have to travel elsewhere.

Grace Cottage Pharmacist Margaret Bourbeau teaches Mike Corpman, a student at the Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University and intern at Grace Cottage Hospital how to use the new Mobile Isolation Unit for sterile compounding. Pharmacy interns from Ohio Northern will be at Grace Cottage for training throughout the year.
