- A Chester Chest mannikin is needed for an increased level of
nursing training in vascular access. $675.
- Grace Cottage Family Health needs two new heavy-duty examination
tables; they’re $1,222 each.
- Four wireless headphones for patient room TVs are needed, to
permit one patient in a shared hospital room to sleep while the
other patient watches TV favorites; they’re $90 each.
- Grace Cottage Rehab needs a new heavy-duty commercial treadmill
to help patients regain mobility and stability. The cost is $6,056.
- Do you have a gently-used snowmobile or tool trailer that you’d
be willing to donate to Grace Cottage’s Emergency Preparedness
effort? An enclosed, lockable trailer is needed for storage of
cots, linens, decontamination equipment, etc. Call Barb Williams

- The dietary department needs two ingredient bins on wheels for
flour and sugar, at a cost of $225 each. An oilstone to sharpen
knives is $155. A case of 24 cobalt blue 9” patient plates
is $125, and a case of 48 mauve insulated hot drink mugs is $85.
To puree food for patients who can’t chew well, a commercial
blender is $875, and a commercial food processor is $1,176.
- A glidescope is needed for the ER, to provide a video laryngoscope
for intubation. More details can be provided for those who aren’t
squeamish, but it’s state-of-the-art and saves lives. $9,000.
